Some CCD facts

Slate has a good backgrounder on Colony Collapse Disorder and the honey bee-less future. The gist is that, whatever the direct cause of CCD, honeybees in the U.S. (and maybe also in Canada) have been screwed for awhile, as are their likely replacements also likely to be in the long run.
