Repeal the Second Amendment.

I'm in love with this New Republic piece by Benjamin Wittes on why the U.S. should repeal the Second Amendment. Beautifully written and, despite offering itself as a "modest proposal", absolutely convincing.

Also just the sort of political stand with which a brave, smart well-meaning liberal candidate could bury the Democratic Party for a generation. That's why we need smart op-ed writers like Wittes to make them instead.
