A break in the action.
I have deadlines, deadlines, deadlines, which means no more blogging til Saturday. Come back then, y'all if yer interested.
Let the hell-week begin...
Update: In the meantime, let me recommend to all you TNR subscribers this rather sobering article by John Judis about John Roberts in the bigger scheme of things, and why Dems really should vote against him on principle. In the matter of racists on the court, Roberts is almost certainly a big improvement on William Renquist. But racism isn't what it used to be. And, to judge from Judis' analysis, Roberts is still the antithesis of what the party of E plaribus unum ought to stand for.
